UX Research Intern–Pong to Pokémon Museum Exhibit August – December 2017
· Consulted with the Education and Digital Media Teams about goals of the Pong to Pokémon: The Evolution of Electronic Gaming exhibit
· Observed visitors for engagement behaviors and flow/dwell in the exhibit for two months
· Conducted 15 intercept/onsite interviews with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds about their experiences interacting with media and technology in the context of the exhibit
· Presented key findings and insights for future exhibit designs to stakeholders via a final report and presentation
· Drafted a survey to be implemented by Visitors Services staff through the closing of the exhibit to further explore insights discovered during the interviews
· Enabled the Bullock to apply for tech-related awards for museum engagement using my metrics and data (Honorable Mention at the 2018 MUSE Media & Technology Awards)

PROJECTS
Information Architecture and Design Jan. 2018 – May 2018
· Designed a survey and conducted interviews with six individuals, and used resultant quantitative and qualitative data to identify critical pain points and determine project direction for artists and vendors looking for networking opportunities and space to exhibit their work
· Developed content models and mapped users’ journeys through proposed architecture
· Performed iterative design with 13 unique participants over 4 rounds of testing to create an effective solution (website)
Music Video Game Interaction Design August – December 2017
· Created and deployed a survey which garnered over 200 responses in under a week, and analyzed results to inform project direction and early/middle stage design decisions for music game
· Wrote an interview script to solicit expert game designer and music educator input
· Collaborated on low, middle, and high fidelity mock-up and prototype design
· Conducted user testing with prototypes and discussed results with designer to iterate designs accordingly
User Research for ReWire (Accessibility) Project January – May 2017
· Created, deployed, and analyzed a survey for Traumatic Brain Injury patients and their healthcare providers to inform future project direction and early wireframe designs
· Reviewed existing literature about TBI and designing for users with cognitive delays
· Created a checklist detailing style and functional requirements for designing for TBI patients

· Evaluated the Hope Alliance Crisis Center’s website using Nielson’s (and other) heuristics
· Met with client to discuss goals and concerns
· Created a test plan with 6 tasks and conducted summative testing using the website with 5 participants, and used results to communicate design suggestions to client through storytelling
